Apanemo Beach House in Kimolos is a private seaside accommodation in an idyllic location, right by the sea with direct access to Agios Nikolaos Beach.

Apanemo Beach House is located among the historical cave houses of the settlement of Agios Nikolaos, a protected quiet settlement, ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy the Kimolian culture in tranquility and peace of mind.

The view from the bedroom will excite you. You can listen to the sound of the waves while sleeping or enjoy your breakfast, lunch or drink in the small outdoor courtyard.

Built with the traditional architecture of Kimolos, renovated and decorated with great taste, it provides all the comforts, warmth, cleanliness and the ideal space for a perfect holiday experience.

The house is a former “sirma” that was originally used to protect fishing boats from the winter winds and was converted into a holiday home.

Its architecture and decoration combine the Cycladic tradition with traditional lines, achieving an exceptional and relaxing balance.

It consists of a large open space that includes a fully equipped kitchen for food preparation, a comfortable double bed with a soft mattress, a bathroom with shower and a small outdoor courtyard on the sea for exclusive use.

Private sunbeds are also available to enjoy your sunbathing, the colors of the sunset while at night you can gaze at the starry sky of the Aegean.

All modern appliances are provided for your comfort and convenience to have an unforgettable stay, as well as comfortable table with chairs on the outdoor patio.

With a unique location in the center of the beach and completely renovated with brand new equipment in traditional style.

Unlimited free wi-fi, queen double bed with a width of 160cm x 200cm (5’2″ x 6’6″) with soft COCO-MAT mattress, spacious bathroom with shower, Smart LED TV, Air-condition, fully equipped kitchen, refrigerator, Nespresso espresso coffee machine, personal care products Papoutsanis, dining table and terrace furniture are at your disposal along with the full support of the hosts for attraction tips and suggestions for an unforgettable vacation.

Beach towels and private sunbeds are at your disposal.

Visitor Access

You can access Apanemo Beach House by bus or taxi from the port of Psathi. It has easy access about 3 km from the port of Psathi or 2 km from Chora of Kimolos.

If you visit the island by car or motorbike you can park it near the house. A free public Parking area is available nearby.

Please note that the house is located right in front of the sea and the free parking lot is 50 meters away, from where you will need to continue walking to reach the house. It is not possible to get right outside the house by vehicle.

If you visit the island by vessel, you can moor it near the cave house. Small vessels can be moored at the dock outside the house, if there is available space.

At a distance of 2 minutes (on foot), there is a bus stop to the village and the other beaches of the island. We recommend that you rent a vehicle (car, scooter, etc.) to be able to explore the island easily.

 Verified Tydliga instruktioner och rekommendationer från start vilket gjorde upplevelsen väldigt smidig.Fantastisk miljö och boendet hade det man behövde. Renligt och fräscht.  Verified Wow - what can I say ... I've been touring the Cyclades for almost a month now, and this stay stands out as my most unique, most authentic, and perhaps most beautiful stay I have had in Greece. I actually had to take a private transfer from Sifnos to Kimolos as I missed my ferry & tbh, the transfer from Sifnos to Kimolos ended up being a highlight too as he brought me right up to a dock at this Airbnb ! Aggeliki's place is so unique, quiet, peaceful, authentic - watching a local fisherman get his boat ready for the day, kind, warm greek islanders around just living their life ... this is the real Greece for those who aren't looking for crowds that have overrun Milos. Lastly, the actual boat house itself is wonderful - modern lights, clean, capsules for coffee, hot warm shower, screen for the flies ... falling asleep here and waking up the next morning felt like a dream.Do yourself a favor and book this place :)

 Verified I really enjoyed my stay here, it felt so peaceful and restorative. You are right on the water so fall asleep to the sound of the waves, it's perfect.The space itself is really nice, the bed is comfy, the kitchen well equipped, and the outside terrace leading onto the beach is heavenly.Check in was easy, it was easy to find. If you are bringing a lot of luggage there is a short walk down a hill and you need to take your suitcase across the beach. However, this isn't really an issue, my case was heavy and I managed it fine.Andreas is a really kind and responsive host too.Bring bug spray for the evenings - there is a bug screen at the property which I recommend using.A lovely stay!

 Verified Just as described but better! Really intimate spot. It was early May when we visited so not everything was open (including a scooter/car rental place). The good news is the main town was walkable (less than 25min). The host was SO SO helpful in coordinating a private boat when the ferry unexpectedly shutdown and then arranged a transfer from & to port. I couldn’t recommend this spot more for a true R&R.  Verified An sich war die Unterkunft sehr schön, ruhig und idyllisch. Man konnte immer schnell wen erreichen und wir bekamen viele Tipps.Negativ zu erwähnen sind von mir nur der Weg zur Unterkunft (in unserem Fall mussten wir durch das Meer da es recht windig war und die Wellen stark, was mit Gepäck ein wenig blöd war) und dass es kein Insektengitter gab, da direkt am Meer natürlich viele Insekten sind und man den schönen Ausblick so nicht so gut nutzen konnte.Alles in allem haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, für den Preis würden wir es aber wahrscheinlich nicht noch einmal buchen.

What was once a traditional boat garage has been thoughtfully transformed into a charming and incredibly well-equipped accommodation. Fully stocked kitchen with quality appliances. Every corner sparkles with cleanliness, and it's clear the hosts take immense pride in maintaining their property to the highest standards. Highly recommended for those who appreciate thoughtful hospitality, pristine accommodations, and the rare gift of genuine island peace. ☹On windy days, flies can become quite bothersome around the property as the bay is protected from the wind. Location in a remote cove is unique and the place is amazingly well decorated and well equipped !! The location right on the beach make it a very romantic place to stay and sleeping with the sound of the waves is a superb experience ! The bedding is of high quality ! The traditional chora with its wonderful little lanes and architecture, shops and tavernas is 20 minutes walk away or a very short drive. A quiet town and island which hasn’t been overrun with tourism suited us perfectly
